Currently up in Townsville. I'll look into having the metals tested up here If you like...(given the "hens teeth" nature of the item, this would be my preference)

Other than that I may send the unit complete to you, and may relieve you of one of the first prototypes.

Another option may be to pick up an old lockright from the papers or www.outerlimits.com a little closer to home and test them...pretty sure the only thing that would really change would be size and spline counts, metals would be the same.

I would still look at the possibility of basing the unit on the Zook 26 spline with minor machining differences to the two center parts (with the "v" notches) No point reinventing the wheel if all it takes is 10 mins in a mill.
