Do you think a body lift would still be required? I hope to do a v6/v8 conversion this summer along with sas (either early Bronco or some sort of Wagoneer D44's).I have a swb '87 2.6 with MT. SO it's a waste kinda. It'd be like putting a 305 into something. Advanced Adapters was their US agent. Don't know if it was for the wide or narrow block engine, tho. A Buick GNX 3.8 would be kinda quick, but then so would a 4.3 Typhoon/Syclone... You'll need to think about shift control (possibly grab earlier Jeep AW4 tranny module). All junkyard parts.
