Getting the Wheeling Fever
Im new to the site, i think this place is pretty cool. i have an 1985 mitsu monty, 4x4, 2.6 locking hubs. im trying to chang my front driver side wheel bearing. im find this to be faily easy but im not having any luck. I live in Mesa az. This is my shogun and i need to get her going. Can some one walk me through it, or i can pay some one if they need the extra money ( as long as im not paying dealership prices.) so if any one has an idea let me know. Thanks a millon

Have you done anything like this befroe?

Take the locking hub off. Take the clip on the end of the CV off. There will be 2 screws holding a large locking nut on. You can already take the caliper off. You will need 2 bearings with races and a seal. The whole disc comes off with the assembly. The inner bearing will be behind the seal. That is roughly what has to happen. There is a special socket you can use, but I use a hammer and punch for the locking nut. Others will provide more info. If you dont feel comfortable, take it somewhere other than the dealer.

Oh yeah, welcome. Post pics of your truck.

I just want to tell you both good luck, and we're all counting on you.
