This Isuzu vehicle is pretty weird. I and Vovkus saw it yesterday near Balboa Island. I suppose that the guy probably installed an Isuzu engine in it, this is why the Isuzu plate:

That's a Ford Econoline, so it doesn't make sense that there would be a Duramax in it, but maybe he swapped one in? That's the only thing I can think of...

It's a good vehicle. Note what appears to be a canopy shade on the side of it.

The Econoline made #8 on the "best vehicles survive the recession" with list.

What's that written on the side, on the door just aft of the front wheel? Looks perhaps like a conversion company name. I think that's an important clue in what we're dealing with here.
