Update from AAFES <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
In my response from them dtd 23 Dec 08,
"I have just been informed by the manager of the Gun Counter that there has been a slight change when buying ammunition. A new prompt has been downloaded by HQ AAFES, asking for additional information when purchasing ammunition and guns...."
In my 2nd response from them, dtd 29 Dec, 2008:
"Although I understand your concern, in regards to the prompt which is now coming up in the registers during ammunition purchases, the issue is being worked, and should be resolved in the near future, where this prompt will no longer come up. It was a human error that this was downloaded and is being worked aggressively to remedy."
Now to this next sentence, my thought was "DAMN SKIPPY IT IS!!" Probably doesn't have a pea-shooter in her house.
"Of course, telling other veterans you know is your prerogative, and we respect your right to do so."
"While I understand your frustration, know that this has been evaluated, and again is being worked to rectify. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any further questions or concerns you may have."
<img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" /> And why this wasn't in the first response.....
Make me crazy, gonna keep my eyes peeled tho'.
And x2 now that this thread was TAINTED, stuff's been coming down the pike for awhile, like limiting the shelf life of reloading powder for example. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/butwiggle.gif" alt="" />
