Can any of you guys point me in the right direction to obtain directions on how to istall a HI steer kit on an 85 4runner including how to extract to stock steering box......Thanks

Same thing applies. Just under the axle instead of over. Still need to replace the stock steering box with an IFS box.

I have the box from an 86. The bracket is a bit confusing. Do I have to get this thing welded?

Did you read the allpro link I gave you above?

It says the third mounting bolt goes through a bracket that is welded to the frame.

And the sleeves for the other 2 bolts get welded flush to the frame.
