I got to travel to some interesting places, made some good friends there too. Became a gun owner, and I'm slowly getting my wife more comfortable with guns. I've worked hard to provide for my family, and learned how to be less selfish. I've learned to be content with what I have, but still work for my dreams. I've pursued some hobbies I never made time for before. Can't think of much else at the moment. What do you guys have?

Well-
I filed bankruptcy, gave up my business, had to take a bag-of-shtuff job driving a forklift in a freezer on graveyard shift, had to give away one dog and put two others down because of old age... You don't have time

Then I gave up the rest of my life and moved 700 miles away, and am starting a new life to be closer to my two sons.

Wouldn't trade it!

I added some more new friends in 2008 and the best part is, I didn't loose any of the old ones.

1. I have survived multiple waves of lay-offs at my firm, inheriting new duties and responsibilities along the way. No raise(s) though, for anyone. Our primary product is residential grading and construction observation.

2. Survived two trips to SoCal.

3. Continuing to help the Montero parts needs of members here, though my shipping turn-around needs improvement. I give myself a C- grade... Opinions will naturally vary.

Survived another year at my job... And I seem to be making progress at it.

Not sure that is what I want to be proud about though.

What really matters is the place I call home.

The fruit trees I planted have grown and are starting to produce.

The raised bed gardens turned out a boatload of good veggies and other good things to eat.

I have become a part of the neighborhood and have made friends.

Wife and I are very happy... And thats what matters the most.
