Got on the phn. with the General Manager where the jeep was bought from and had a lengthy convo! He brought the rep in on a 3 way call and wanted to get to the bottom of this noise.
01/05/09
Met GM at 9 am today to have him listen to the noise. He concluded that the rep stateing it is clutch/ trans was incorrect and that it is def... drive line and / or suspension related. Schedual for repairs Sat. morning to resolve this issue. He will be waiting personally for the jeep at 6:45am....Xing fingers.

And that is a real surpise that the GM knows anything about vehicles (maybe he should work there as one of the mehcanics...sounds like you might actually get something done about your situation.
