Getting the Wheeling Fever
Ok.. finally it works....

For the guys who want to know the removable top I will take some pictures.

This weekend I worked on the Mikuni carburator and tried to make some changes.... but I do not have the complete information to set up or tune up the carburator... there are three screws... on for the idle graduation, one for a flat screwdriver with spring that I asume is for air and other above this for a thin flat screwdriver that is on one hole under the condensator. It isn?t show on the pictures because is image blocked for the condensator. Anyone can help me. BTW I found the all set for restoration of the carb... brand new... so I need tho know how to tune up before change parts.

Thanks

JorgeA

Ok...I found a set of OEM suspension seats from a LBS Montero, grey color, front have suspension and rear are collapsable (folding) with arm resting... right know the Montero is on the shop getting front and rear seats installed. Also I found 5 Montero LWB wheels OEM with the center cap on them... so here is the question... I have seen two class of tires Yokohama Geolandar AT-S 31x10.5x15 or 265/70/15 which one would be better???... Thanks

JorgeA.

You should only adjust the idle stop screw and idle mixture screw. Use a low speed tach and set the idle stop screw (end rests on the throttle linkage lever stop, back side of carb, low) so the fully warmed up curb idle is about 750-800. Then adjust the idle mixture screw (driver's side of the carb, middle, low, angled slightly down) to get the highest idle speed, then readjust the idle speed, then readjust the mixture.
