Hmm- I followed the instructions on the visor to shift the lever "at 62mph or less while the gas pedal is being slackened"- so I was in motion when I selected 4Hi. Is it possible for the car to be in motion with the level in the 4Hi position but not actually be engaged in 4Hi?
