I'm leaking a lot of oil from the rear of the engine, with 262,000 miles I assumed that the rear main seal was shot. I pulled off the cover from the bell housing and noticed that the front facing surface of the flywheel is bone dry. With a rear main seal leak on these engines would the flywheel be oil coated?
