Roll Me Over
I spoke too soon. I lost a u-joint about 150 miles from home. Luckily I was able to limp off the freeway and then it died totally. I pulled the drive shaft out of the t-case, tied it up and used FWD to go a block or so to a motel.

Tomorrow I will find a u-haul and a car dolly to rent and then put my tail between my legs and limp home.

Body Damage is Cool
Jim!

Call me! You have to be close to Sunnyside, WA if your 150 miles from home. I can tow you to my garage/house, and you can use my air tools/work space...or I can tow you back home. I can also come get you with my Dodge Cummins and trailer, as there both ready to go now.

Man! I was all excited that you were going to make it Jim. hope a solution comes to you in the morning...

Steve, Travis, Craig, James, et al...

Randii & I are leaving tomorrow afternoon -- hope to hit town before midnight on Tuesday so we'll be looking for people Wednesday.

We aren't bringing a rig, so will need passenger seats or we may rent when we get there since the giant furball is most likely with us.
Can't wait to see everyone!

Keith Johnson (Air Amigo) is on the way to haul me home. If the ears aren't damaged and I can find an Isuzu u-joint tomorrow, I may still make it.

Well, I won't be making Moab this year. When the u-joint went, it messed up the coupling that bolts to the pinion flange.

Isuzu is 6-8 WEEKS out for the part. Luckily, Jerry has a stock of them, but I won't have it in time to make Moab.
