First, unless the engine isn't the original, it's a 22R.

The 20R carb opening is round; the 22R is more rectangular. Those carbs are very different critters.

Also, just aft of the alternator is a flat spot on the block with the serial number and the engine type stamped on it. Might be viewable thru the wheelwell.
