Just got a 93 reg cab 3.0 4x, and its beat, I'm digging into it so have some questions. For this thread, Clutch Issue, Hopefully Linkage? Clutch won't disengage completely, but engages normally during the pedal throw release, can barely drive it by starting the engine after its in gear, it'll barely shift on the fly, sometimes it'll go into 2nd at idle mostly when its warm, never cold, it acts like a linkage issue so I've bled it good and made sure the pedal is getting maximum throw and changed the slave, the slave's aluminum piston was worn bad but cups were not leaking, not much change after all that cleaning. Tried to attach clamps to manually pull the actuator arm back all the way to see if that might do the disengage thing, my lever pulling method might not have really pulled the lever back all the way? The master looks pretty good, I'll have to dig into it's guts to confirm, pedal pumping is no help or change. I'll do infinite testing and anything else before tackling a clutch. Any ideas please.
