http://www.valleyindustries.com/ISHEETS/81110.pdfthats what was on mine when i got it. bolts to both the main frame rails and the part whenre the loop is. still have the loop on it too. pulled a 4 door trooper with no problems. personally i would put a bigger (or a second oil-air) trans cooler on for any kind of distance towing.

You think that thick trans cooler isn't good enough to cool that trans? That thing is pretty beefy, even by aftermarket trans cooler standards. I have a valley tow hitch in my shopping basket for my one supplier, but I don't want to bolt it onto this montero since I'm buying another one over the weekend. I'm lazy and don't want to bolt it up, then take it off and bolt it to the other one LOL.

95SR a/t locks up in 3rd and 4th, so there's not much if any additional tranny heating. Never had a prob towing the boat in summer with the a/c on in hilly NE GA...

step into it just a bit and it will unlock. Huh? Mine won't unless it downshifts or drops below some critical speed near as I can tell...

TC doesnt lock up until in 4th. give it some throttle and it unlocks. give it some more and it drops to 3rd. give it even more and it goes to 2nd as the gas gauge drops. regarding the hitch...i dont know. came on mine when i bought the truck

My truck feels real strong. I got 19 mpg on the highway on my first tank of 87 octane run through the truck. We were hanging with a SRT8 jeep through traffic LOL. I gave my engine a fresh rebuild. New piston rings, vss, big bore lifters, oil pump, water pump, timing belt and components, and gaskets and seals. I also replaced my trans cooler lines with some aluminum fuel line I had at the shop. Those were just about to explode LOL. I think I can cruise at 75 mph at around 3k rpms. Truck feels real solid. I still have to do fluid and filter on the trans and check the diffs fluid.
