I buy the timing belts for these from the dealer, the DOHC Mitsu engines are tough on the timing belt, the 6 cylinder less so than the 4s are but I have seen my share of 40K belt failures. A Conti brand belt has been the shortest lived belt so far.
The SOHC engines I will run any brand belt though.


Good point. In fact, I may just buy the whole kit and caboodle from them to be safe so I don't have to redo this until it's actually due.
