The Conti failure I had was on a 4G63, a customers street driven GVR4 commuter car. Probably spent a bunch of time in the 2200 to 2400 rpm range that is the harsh spot on these.
A new belt I have in hand right now is labeled Unitta, defiantly not a Continental.
