Hey Ray did you check this out? Some rock stuff or this one OK, as some of you may (or may not) know, 4crawler is no longer making rock skidz. Cost of shipping has made them to difficult to continue to support. I thought he would make them as a kit and you do the welding. I just happened to be poking around the archives and saw your new Montero- I have to say that is an extremely nice machine!!! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" /> I would like to put some of those bumpers on mine as well, do you know the year of the TJ those came from? Also, could you re-post some pics of the process you undertook to add those? When I pull up the thread, the pics don't show up. Thanks A Lot! Seems the year does not matter for the JK (07-09?). One bumper will fit all JK years (at least thats what I can see from my cursory research). Here are pics of what was done to make them fit... Front frame rails were chopped shorter and re-enforced (optional) ![[Linked Image]](http://inlinethumb37.webshots.com/31780/2269216870104986527S600x600Q85.jpg) Brackets were made up that bolt through the side holes in the frame and have a flat surface facing the front where the TJ bumper can be bolted to. I elected to cut all the way up to the first side bumper mounting hole/bolt. The TJ rear frame is wider than the Montero frame so you need to create an adapter to allow it to fit. I think instead of painting the bumpers gold you should have painted the body cladding black. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

Still need to install my rock skids, source & buy gears (R&P + xcase), upgrade the armor underneath, install my winch, lift the gas tank above the frame rails, install wheeling lights, etc. Work in progress... work in progress. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/cheers.gif" alt="" />
