Amy my stock tj with them same 30 X 9.50 tires on it does fine in the wilderness and on the highway. By placeing taller tires on it I would lose 2 or 3 or even more miles per gallon and would lose horsepower on the highway.. So I don't plan on changing tire size. The cost, other than the tires, is too high for me.
Lots of young people put tall tires on their ride and think it LOOKS good... They don't understand that the Jeep, or whatever, is engineered to use a certain tire size. Changing tire size changes a LOT more than just the LOOK of the vehicle.
