Hmm, I'd be careful, folks. The poster has a poor command of the English Language & only has 6 positive feedbacks & those are only as a buyer. Also the feedbacks only go back 6 months.

While that doesn't always mean it's a rip off attempt, it does mean you should proceed with caution if you want this truck. Just too many red flags here to not take some extra care, IMHO.

Yes, if I wasn't living in the area nearby the auction I woudn't even look at it. I'd want to drive over and check it out.

As a side note, I know lots of good folks that haven't a very good command of the english language. Lots of American High School graduates are among them. But the narrator in the youtube vids doesn't sound like he needs English classes. I find this above posters comment to be somewhat callous and demeaning. So what? you expect every Toyota owner, good mechanic or ebay seller in the USA to be a graduate of a major university and majoring in English grammer? Perhaps you could go hang out with some NASCAR folks for a few months and we'll see what you think of that. Also, what in the world has someones command of the english language have to do with owning, maintaining or purchasing a truck? Are you insinuating that this person is a foreigner or underpriveledged person and automatically a suspect for fraud? What sort of a non-intellectual racist comment is that? Your comment was offensive to me and I'm sure others too. Do you consider us to be a bunch of hicks with not enough wisdom or intelligence to purchase a vehicle on our own? Wish you wouldn't have posted that bud. It's a patently stupid comment.

And I'm in no way connected with this seller whatsoever. For those of you that would throw that out there in defense of this last poster.

I didn't download the youtube video, it takes too long on dialup as a rule.

In any event the auction raised red flags in my mind for many reasons, the use of English was just one of them. For the record, it reminded me of those phishing emails we've all seen, actually (ie, not a native English speaker).

Check into his feedback, all 6 of them, only as a buyer. One is from a seller that seems to exist to help folks up their positive feedback, another from a seller who is no longer registered on ebay. Most of the others are DVD sellers, so small ticket items. Just the sort of things a scammer might buy to get some positive feedback in a short period of time.

One needs to use every resource available when dealing on Ebay, especially with vehicles. Sorry if that offends you.

Bidding is ended and I moved this down here for just cuzez.

That sniping was rather lame and uncalled for, IMHO. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/rolleyes.gif" alt="" />
