while we are on this topic, can they get beige floor mats for a 98 pajero? US dealers don't have any and Mitsu motors of america aren't making anymore. the mat with the hole in it for the retaining hook needs to be on the left side front (driver).

I gave them the part number and they called back with the tool kit. They confirmed that this is the kit that is in the rear door. They did not ask me about which color and I did not think to ask them. Did you see the price difference with Avango Spare Parts? More than 50% cheaper.

I called the Chicago warehouse, the guy told me that they don't sell retail, they do huge shipments and large quantities. Plus they also told me, that if it is original equipment, they work with dealers in the US to export. I was confused. At any rate, maybe someone else will call and dig deeper or get a difference response, but they told me they couldn't help me.

Would you be able to ask sometime, no hurry, the dealer in germany if they can get floor mats for the vehicle that I sent you the VIN for earlier as well as the tool kit being brown? the floor mats should come up as beige. the part number here in the US for the floor mats is AMR8XF1E01

if it is too much of mystery hunt, no worries, it isn't crucial. But if they are still available, we would be interested if it wasn't crazy high in price.

I'll look around I might have one or two of those tools from the SR I had. I know the allen key (sunroof as you call) is in my tool box and the screwdriver is in one of my boxes also..

monty said he was going to send sun roof tool since he didn't have a sun roof anyway, and pat is checking the dealer in germany to see if he can get floor mats and whole new tool kit. all part yards I check with said they are all gone. i PM'ed you my address. the screwdriver and sun roof tool are exactly what I need. plus my dad and brother are missing some of their tools, trying to find out which ones exactly, that is why I am still interested in that new kit, but if you have tools you don't need, I will buy them from you. every little tool helps as we have a total of 5 of these monteros all with tool kits. 3 of them are missing some of their tools, only 2 are complete. thank you for your help and anyone else that is contributing to the cause of the mysteriously missing mitsu tools from the rear cargo door tool compartment.

Mitsu does not have the mats but are checking on the brown cover. What for a brown cover is this? Do you mean the compartment door?
