There is a lid for the tool kit under a seperate part number. In America it comes in various colors but here in Germany it comes only in grey.

oh, well if we can just order the tools and don't need to order the compartment with the cover, than that is fine. I thought we had to order the whole thing as one unit, and if we needed to, just wanted to make sure it was right color, but if we can get just the tools, that is fine b/c that is all they need. so the amount they quoted you before is for all the tools by themselves?

Correct! If you look right from 99010 you will see the part number you gave me. The price is for the kit and tax. I do not know yet what postage will cost but it is more expensive than in the states. Let me know what you want to do.

I also see a seperate part number for the flashlight and the flashlight bulb. Can the dealer in germany get those in seperately? If so, it turns out that my dad and brother are both missing their flashlights and it looks like the rest of the tool kit is complete.

I wonder why some monteros came with that hollow hex socket like tool and other monteros came with the flashlight? my monteros came with the metal hex tools, it appears that both my brother's and my dad's 99 monteros came with flashlights b/c that is most likely a tool that someone would take out and never put back.

There is no rush here take your time and do what is correct. This stuff is not cheap. I make nothing on this, do what you want.

well there's two different flashlights that come in monteros so maybe if you got the bigger one, you won't get the small one in the tool kit. My '99 came with the bigger one, so i have the hex deal.
