One of my projects as IT Manager is moving our office toward a paperless environment. I just installed a Fax server that receives all our faxes, coverts to PDF and e-mails them. I was very happy the other day when we had to fax a government agency. The our employee faxed directly from her computer, then it went to the govt where it went directly into a fax server, no paper was used at all

We also have a service on our big copy machine called Document Mall, it's web based e-document solution. It will scan 50 ppm, covert to PDF and then catalog and store the documents.

After all that the number one thing that keeps people from printing is two computer monitors If they can't see the document on one screen and do work regarding that document on the other screen it's all moot. There is some study out there that says dual monitors boost productivity by 40%
