I use MODI a great deal. But usually I print out handouts prior- 2 pages per sheet, using both sides- so 4 page-ettes per page. I take them to meetings ad scribble notes on them.

Keeps me on track that way. With Modi I can highlight and take notes directly on the sheets pre-meeting. Then just scan them back in with 'in meeting' notes.

People in my field live and die via documentation. I keep it until I'm told to dispose of 'em.
