You're exactly right. I think there were 6 lifts total, but only one 10K lb. one. I wish I'd have bought an extendable mobile oil change pan. I've been shopping for one, and even the plastic ones are a little $$. As far as safety stops, yes, they're every few inches or so. What's funny is, I left the truck on the lift for about 4 days, and after I let it down, it looked as if it had a 4" lift, at least for a half hour or so... Anyhow, it's going to come in pretty handy.

How many $$$? Dealerships here are closing like mad! I paid $900. I spent another $150 on epoxy, anchors, and the electrical parts & pieces to wire it right. I had a friend help me do the install, and the Bend-Pak site has downloads of the installation instructions, so that was a plus. How tall is that garage door? 12' wide by 12' tall.

What kinda electrical juice do these things require?? not much, at least the ones i worked on had really good hydraulic systems and pneumatic safety's. Paul you got a good deal on that thing.

My old garage had 13' ceilings, new garage is 8' so not good for me. I wonder how my wife would feel about me installing one of these on our driveway
