12 plants will be interesting to see how they do. Personally I would try to double that, but that's just me. The more plants you have the better off you are. You will want to pay more attention to getting the pollen pods from the tassels down on the silk, with such a small number of plants.

I am sure you will still get something though; it just probably wonÆt be the yield you are looking for.
