What if you still have the car 10 years from now? By then you may grow tired of high school punks with stock Civics trying to street race you, and you'll be able to just paint the hood and have a more stock-ish looking car (i.e. one color). Inconspicuous is good IMO, especially if you're actually going to drive it fast.
