I'd leave it as is and paint the top half of the car black, like that orange one, OR, paint it blue, and match the ghost gunmetal stripes on the hood all the way over the car.

I wouldn't say there was anything 'rice' about a real CF hood. Only if it's a crappy attempt to give the impression of a CF hood would it be 'ricer' <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/kewl.gif" alt="" />

I think a raw CF hood would look awesome on a charcoal colored car. Ominous and menacing. <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

But would you go with light Charcoal or dark like pictured before? And would you paint the top half black all the way back. Or just leave everything else the same color?

Thats what the dying question is <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/drunk.gif" alt="" />

Angelo dude, I know you really want this CF hood to go faster and save time in your busy life. However, I worry that you are focusing on the wrong thing. You can use carbon fiber to save time in other aspects of your life too...

I'd paint the whole car the same color and just leave the hood as bare CF. Classy with just a touch of badass. What if you still have the car 10 years from now? By then you may grow tired of high school punks with stock Civics trying to street race you, and you'll be able to just paint the hood and have a more stock-ish looking car (i.e. one color). Inconspicuous is good IMO, especially if you're actually going to drive it fast.
