That's a nice hood i would keep it that color and paint the car to match the hood

I guess I have a couple weeks to finally decide on which shade of charcoal to go with. Looks like I might be keeping the hood as is in the pic. I was thinking a darker charcoal might blend it better, but maybe a lighter charcoal might set it off better? Here are some shade of charcoal I'm considering.. Whats your vote?

Sterlling Grey Metallic

Platinum

Liquid Platinum from Infinity probably very similar to the one above
Platinum Graphite
Amethyst Graphite

EDIT: After post those pics, the last 3 just look the same. They are actually different, but from those pics, they have very little differences.

I'll post more colors as I find them. Thanks guys for the options!

I guess it does look like a catfish mouth. Thanks for ruining it for me! I thought it looked pretty nada$$. alot of 3s members do the conversion to fit a larger cooler and for the "newer" look. But yeah yeah, that's the bumper.

Anyone else have any ideas on diff colors and how much I should blackout when I do the paint job?

Body Damage is Cool
Well...
In my not so humble opinion...
I get really tired of seeing the dinkus rice wannabees and their black hoods. Every jacksmile punk paints his hood black. Well, that or the body kit with no paint on it.
Now, to me, the black hood just looks like the whitetrash guy who just throws a door on from the junkyard with the attitude of "I'm gonna put "custom" paint on it "soon", so I'll just leave it for now" Then it's still that way eight years later

If you want to stay with the CF, paint the car black.

Need a Spot
You can paint over carbon fiber and avoid bleed through if you use a "high build" epoxy primer.

I do appericate everyones opinion ForcedAir. I def dont want to look like a ricer. These cars are in a league of their own (well, atleast a league higher than a lil civic ricer) Thats why I was getting opinions on either painting it or leaving it, cause if I leave it CF, then I was thinking of going with the "black out" theme across the top to the back like the M6 pictured previously so it wouldnt just be the hood. There would actually be a finished theme to it rather than that unfinished paint job you speak of.

Thanks for the input! Thats the kind of stuff I need to hear so I dont make a mistake later on.

I don't mind the air dam and the black hood really cuts down on glare. Both are functional so it passes the "poser" test IMO. As far as looks, I'm a stock sort of guy so to each his own
