what to use on intake plenum gasketts? throttle body to plenum?

Need a Spot

so as the final step in an all new engine bay I pulled the intake plenum back off to de-gunk it, (after removing the throttle body with it's new tps). so what gasket prep should I use? thanks, Matt

You might get different answers, depending on who you talk to, but I use a very thin film of Permatex Ultra-Black silicone on just about all gaskets. Not black, but Ultra-Black. On the exhaust gaskets I use Permatex Ultra-Copper. In addition to being insurance against leaks, this makes disassembly much easier in the future.
