I had a 3" Old Man Emu spring lift in my XJ and it rubbed like crazy with 30" mud terrains.
You might need to go a bit higher than 2" or smaller than 31" tires to fully clear the body and get full turn radius.

I trimmed the metal a bit under the flares front and rear and bought steel rims with a better offset to clear the body at full stuff and turn.
