My personal preference is to stay away from blocks.

Spacers under coil springs are functional and in-expensive for a lift.

Add-a-leaf do work but with reduced flex and a harsh ride.

You can get spring packs for most any lift you desire and are the best method. They provide flex and a more comfortable ride.

If your hang-up is cost, consider what you will pay when you re-do the lift in the future.

You are doing your homework, asking questions and looking at options.

If the rig will be used to ferry clients, consider the comfort factor.

A 3-4" lift does not raise the vehicle to the point of being difficult to enter and exit.
