Body Damage is Cool

ok...here is the deal.
The sender portion is seperate from the actual fuel pump electronics in most cases. even though it comes as one unit.
The trick is to find a junkyard and pull The unit, then dissect it to remove the Rheostat. Small to large wire type cutters may be needed. It most times can be bent back and removed no problem.
Take care to examine the rheostat for flat spots too! Don't want a used part worse than the one you got.
as a last resort: fork over the cash for the unit!
My Raider gets to 1/4 and eventualy runs out of gas while still at 1/4 but that is because of the massive dents in fuel tank! <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" />
