I have a 2001 montero sport 3.0L 4wd automatic and have been searching non-stop for info like this on doing a body lift on a sport. Close to a week now... It started with wanting to install 285/75 r16.

I have come to understand that Sports are quite different then the rest of the mistu family. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have yet to come across a "sport" diy version. If it similar to this then perfect, great. I just want to know ahead of time what to look out for.

Also is 4crawler the only source for my vehicle? I can't seem to find a kit anywhere. Can I make my own? I keep seeing people speak of doing it themselves. but no particulars. Just getting longer bolts from a hardware store. Not info on the blocks themselves. Is there a place to buy the blocks whole and cut to your size?
