 NY/NJ/PA get together, Would anyone be interested in Northern NJ Trail ride?

I just got off the phone with a friend of mine and he asked me when r we going trail riding. I told him lets go. He said they have some nice trails by him but to just be prepared to get wet, because there are a few rivers to cross. He is checking it out to make sure we wont get hassled. It would be in Northern NJ close to Dover. Lets shoot for OCT. . Lets get some dates, Saturdays would be preferable. Sundays r football days! HEHE

I'd be up for making a weekend out of it... wheeling Saturday and Sunday makes the drive more worth while - NNJ would be about 4-5 hours for me. What about a trip to Paragon? Might be a more central location for everyone... no hastle about public vs private land etc. But we would have to pay to get in ($35). Just a thought. I was there this past weekend, had a blast... tons of trails, lots of difficulties. It's in Hazelton, PA.

I'm interested big time, I am in Williamsport,PA right now till December. I'd like to do some wheelin' in NJ/NY how about near Ithaca?
Anybody know of any trails up there?

Where is Hazelton? Rmember Im like on the east side of the HUDSON river. The Jersey/PA border is already a hike for me. The wkend camping thing would have to be done with more planning. I just wanted to hit some trails for the day. If you guys can come up with some compromise, lets see.

If memory serves from the many times I've driven from Indiana to New York, Hazelton is right off I-80 about an two hours from NYC.

Paragon is in Hazelton PA, about 90 minutes south of Binghamton off of I-81. Unfortunately, I don't know of any significant trails in the Binghamton/Ithica/Syracuse area... but the NY-TTORA boys might... I'll see what I can find out.

I'm keeping my attention on this one, guys. I've never been wheelin' before and I'm stock, suspension-wise. But I'd love to hook-up with everyone to get a flavor of what you all have goose bumps about. Anyone considering the Fall Color trip to GWSF in VA the weekend of Oct 12th?
