I never used the pulley tool, just put the breaker bar handle on the frame rail and bump the starter a noodge, then rednek torque the bolt back on with a dead blow hammer. Never had one come loose. Tool is a pretty easy fab, though...


Um...yeah, thanks but I'm not taking short-cuts and risk breaking things that aren't broken, ya know? Also, I have a torque wrench and I'm meticulous when it comes to specs. So I'm making the tool.

Buy a chain wrench for the HB you can use it for other things too...
