There are nuts behind the trim panel.

Buy a Trooper. You'll be glad you did.

Aren't there 4 torx or allen headed bolts that hold the bracket to the door? I thought the nuts were captured within the structure of the door?

Good Luck,
Michael

Oh, they are there. They have a security head on them. It would be pretty silly to make the whole thing removable with 4 hex headed bolts.

Time to get out the welder and put some nuts on there or get fancy with the vice grips.

You either find the right socket. Where to start, I don't know. Isuzu?

Other than that, get out the vice grips and go to town. Or, you could weld nuts to each one and remove with a regular socket.

Good Luck,
Michael

FIND A TOOL STORE , NORTHERN TOOL HAS THESE , THAT ARE MADE BY IRWIN TOOLS , THEY COME IN A KIT AND ARE THE BEST INVESTMENT YOU WILL EVER MAKE , FOR GETTING BOLTS OR NUTS OUT, THEY ARE REVERSE CUT TEETH INSIDE , COMMONLY CALLED BOLT OUTS, GET THE METRIC SET AND THEN USE THE ONE FOR A 15 MM BOLT HEAD WITH A 3/8 TH RATCHET AND THEY WILL COME RIGHT OUT , ABOUT 20 BUCKS JERRY
