ok kids,
sway bar hardwear was rusted together, had to be broken and cut off (spacer rust-fused to bolt).

now the hole on the a-arm that the sway hardwear goes thru looks a little oblong. is this a problem? also the spicer hardwear i got doesn't have the retainer for the bushing that sits on top of the a-arm. will the a-arm and its mis-shapen hole eat my new bushings?

i was told from the previous owner that a mechanic wanted to replace the lower a-arm because there was a bolt that was frozen. could this be the adjusting cams? i just can't imagine replacing the arm because of a rusty bolt.

i'm doing the tie rods too. just tell me that spending $160 for all four ends is ok. i could do 'em for $60 on the cheap, but i don't want to do them all the time. just say its ok.

i'm really resisting the urge to put new shocks under it while i've got everything apart.

please see this post for a joint tulip/ tripod joint question: http://www.4x4wire.com/forums/showf...mp;amp;o=14&fpart=2&vc=1

cheers,
j.
