I dunno, Curtis - I've always thought that guns are for shooting until they're dangerous to shoot - sorta like cars are made for driving until you can't get parts at a reasonable price.

I'll take it down this weekend and see if I can find out more from that 1911 site Bruce posted. If it's worth a lot of money, maybe I'll just put it on the shelf and shoot it every now and then and buy another for carry or use my S&W .38.
