The voltage guage is stuck at 18V. I'm reading 14.6 volts at the battery with the truck running. The FSM trouleshooting say to check the inline fuse or replace the guage. Where would I find this inline fuse? Or or they just talking about the fuse to the instrument panel? My truck is an 88 4x4 with 22 REI motor and 5-speed. I do have a correct five speed instrument panel. Any help on this? Thanks, Roy Hand me that crowbar. Does it go to zero volts when the key is off, and ~12V when the key is ON but engine is off ? When the key is on it goes to about 14V. When you start the engine it goes to 18V. Sorry about the slow reply, I've been away. I do appreciate any help I can get here. As I stated earlier I have checked the voltage across the battery at 14+ volts with the engine running. I'd really like to get this thing working correctly. Hand me that crowbar.
