I am getting ready to do some brake work and wanted to know if the stainless steel lines are worth the money? Dave

Never tried them myself but I heard that they dont flex as much which equates to a more positive pedal stiffness when you brake. Also stainless doesnt rust as easy.
More important than stainless lines is using good pads and rotors. I run brembos and hawk LTS pads with no complaints.

Thanks. Have you heard of a good place to purchase them? Where did you get your pads and rotors?

Ya know, I dunno where to get the lines tbh.
I got my rotors and pads from tirerack as they were the cheapest at the time. You may want to check out auto parts warehouse, see if your local parts store carries them or check the net out a bit more too.

I appreciate it. My T is at stock height so I am assuming these will work.

I've run them on various vehicles and bikes. Good ones have virtually no stretch, so the pedal feel is firm. However, good oem lines don't stretch either, so the pedal feel is firm.
They can be a worthwhile upgrade if replacing worn or questionable lines. But if your OEM lines are fine, I wouldn't go replacing them.
