I bought a set of Superlift 2 1/2" leaf springs for my upcoming SAS and v8 conversion in my swb. The springs came with 2" extended shackles and mounting brackets and the stationary end frame brackets.
My question is, is there a reason why some set-ups put the shackles at the front of the springs towards the bumper, while others mount the shackles at the rear of the spring? I am leaning towards rear mounted shackles but want to know if that would be a mistake....or is it just a matter of preference?
