Acetone, but don't use it near fire or flame or smoking when you do it!

Methyl-ethel-ketone. Not sure where you can find MEK around here in California though <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif" alt="" />.

You can order it online. It's used to catalize certain fiberglass resins.

You can also get adhesive removers at most hardware stores. Goo Gone is one brand I have heard of (a citrus based solvent) and Goof Off (http://www.goof-off.com/) is one I recall using at one time. If tends to not be as aggressive and usually won't take off the paint like some of the stronger solvents may do. I've also used a citrus based paint stripper to remove decal adhesive on my hood and it worked really slick:

Go get a can of Permatex gasket remover. Methylene Chloride , that's the ticket. If you can't find that , go to Home Boy club and buy a can of Jasko or Jabro paint remover (sorry can't remember the exact name) same chemical. Works great (even for carbs) and smells good too. Water clean up , just don't get any onya, the amonium hydroxide that's in there will burn a little

Caution : Removes paint real well

MEK is Nasty stuff but effective. Melts all kinds of plastics, including glues. Very volatile. Might want to try Brake Kleen as well, in a small area first. Methylene Chloride. Will do a dandy job but keep it away from cheap iron.

If using Methelene chloride, be sure to have plenty of ventilation unless you want to be a statistic.

Roll Me Over
I used a heat gun and a putty knife to get the bulk of it off then MEK to get the rest off.
