Goo Gone is one brand I have heard of (a citrus based solvent) and Goof Off (http://www.goof-off.com/) is one I recall using at one time. If tends to not be as aggressive and usually won't take off the paint like some of the stronger solvents may do. If you can't find that , go to Home Boy club and buy a can of Jasko or Jabro paint remover (sorry can't remember the exact name) same chemical. Works great (even for carbs) and smells good too. Melts all kinds of plastics, including glues. Very volatile. Might want to try Brake Kleen as well, in a small area first. Methylene Chloride.
