I did it. Thought others might be interested too.
We Surround Them

Do you watch the direction that America is being taken in and feel powerless to stop it?

Do you believe that your voice isnÆt loud enough to be heard above the noise anymore?

Do you read the headlines everyday and feel an empty pit in your stomachàas if youÆre completely alone?

If so, then youÆve fallen for the Wizard of Oz lie. While the voices you hear in the distance may sound intimidating, as if they surround us from all sidesùthe reality is very different. Once you pull the curtain away you realize that there are only a few people pressing the buttons, and their voices are weak. The truth is that they donÆt surround us at all.
Share this page with your friends and family...

We surround them.

So, how do we show America whatÆs really behind the curtain? Below are nine simple principles. If you believe in at least seven of them, then we have something in common. I urge you to read the instructions at the end for how to help make your voice heard.

The Nine Principles

1. America is good.

2. I believe in God and He is the Center of my Life.

3. I must always try to be a more honest person than I was yesterday.

4. The family is sacred. My spouse and I are the ultimate authority, not the government.

5. If you break the law you pay the penalty. Justice is blind and no one is above it.

6. I have a right to life, liberty and pursuit of happiness, but there is no guarantee of equal results.

7. I work hard for what I have and I will share it with who I want to. Government cannot force me to be charitable.

8. It is not un-American for me to disagree with authority or to share my personal opinion.

9. The government works for me. I do not answer to them, they answer to me.

You Are Not Alone

If you agree with at least seven of those principles, then you are not alone. Please send a digital version of your picture to: wesurroundthem@foxnews.com and then stay tuned to the radio and television shows over the coming weeks to see how we intend to pull back the curtain.

wouldnt have pegged you for a glen beck listner...
hes funny, but its way beyond picular that basically every predicion he has made has come to fruition.
we very well may surrond them, the problem is that they are much more energized than our side. since reagan, the only individual that has brough any kind of excitment to the conservative movement was palin (so hot), or that guy named after a salamander. not our girl though, but i really like bobby jingle our of la. on the plus side however, i really do think that mr.obamas honeymoon is close to being over. to many compromises on his campiegn promises... i guess when you actually see what crosses the desk in the oval office every morning not only changes your prespective while limiting your options but it wakes you up to the fact that thing are the way they are, and no matter how good your speach is... its still just a speach. since he has the info and cant do what he promised, its a given that the hard left would start off with a shot accross his bow (yes, i mean the media) to remind him that he owes them something. even with all of the support he needs in the houses should have been enough, but isnt given the fact that once that truth gets out about how you actually pull a bunny out a hat... its all just ruined. i really do want to like him on a personal level, but its quite the enigma wrapped in a riddle served up in a quenendrum (know i spelt that wrong)... he had to be their guy, but he isnt... hes just more of the same, but only with a much larger price tag. that is unless your a dyed in the wool socialist that actually agrees with this bullcrap stimulus bill that his presidency is riding on.
btw, he was elected and i chose to give him the benifit of the doubt and support him unless i disagreed. that was untill he looked directly into the cameras and lied to me by declaring that there was no pork in the bill. that bad boys got more pork than a hog farm.
mmmmmmm... the other white meat.

Actually you have me pegged right. I'm not a Beck supporter so to speak. I know about him, but don't listen to him regularly. I do support this cause though. My main viewpoint is that the government works for me! And the only reason we have a government is because if we had complete freedom, (anarchy) the human race would probably cause it's own extinction...

I posted this simply because I believe all the points he makes. I'm not posting this to place myself on a pedestal, but rather to prove that I'm not the only one that thinks this way.

I don't like our president. I believe he was elected because people hated Bush. He is not the messiah. The whole "Hope and Change" thing is BS. Who doesn't have hope for this country? And elections are about change. Sheeple don't think though, they only react. I consider myself a sheep dog. I am here to protect all those that just want to live a "normal" life. I will stay on alert for those of you that just don't want to be bothered. I will warn you when your rights are under attack. I will die defending our freedom.

We have the best country on the planet. This causes us to have many enemies, even in our homeland. I will do whatever I can to protect this country. Freedom is important to me, and government is only a necessary evil.

>>>*I was beginning to think that I was all alone in most of those thoughts.

I do know we elect (hire) officials to handle large issues of government, because the truth is we don't want to do that ourselves.

But so many in government have lost sight, thinking we serve them rather than the other way around. I remember listening in shock to Mr. Obama and his clear statement that "Only government can solve the problems facing us".

The truth is that only we can solve those problems, and one of the issues is getting back control of "government."

Thanks, I find myself in agreement...*EB

I think that you are either delusional, or we live in different countries.

People around me are anti-liberty, anti-gunners, anti-4x4, pro-taxes, etc. We have the democracy. The government is elected by the people, and as far as I can see, the government is doing exactly what the people want. The system is working.

When I am going to the range with my guns (I am walking with the locked cases to my parked car), my neighbors are stopping to say "hi", they are looking at my gun cases and they are very puzzled... they ask questions like "is this legal ?" and they feel uncomfortable. You see, people assume that the guns are already banned, somehow...

While you (and me) are unhappy about the people's choice, we can do nothing about it, unless we are willing to put some efforts into starting an anti-democracy revolution.

I do not want any revolution right now. I am going to adjust to the changing conditions, and I am going to exercise my rights to vote, although I know that my vote does not make any difference.

The country was doomed when people began playing with the voting rights for all. "For all" means that all you-know-who can vote now, and we have what we have.

Er... he lives in the Bay area. It's almost it's own country over there. Once you get to the central valley, all that changes.

Don't get me wrong, it's still Kalifornia on this side, but not like it is over there <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/barf.gif" alt="" />
