Followup - engine guts clean as a whistle at 167K. new o2 sensor, tuneup, exhaust. Most of my miles are 20 or so at a time, with 1500 foot ups and downs. Running 02 tundra 16" wheels on 265's. Bottom line is that is an overweight dog. No wonder they only made about 25000 of them in 93. Who bought a truck back then with a 6, much less a 4200 pound 4x4 with a 6?

So I have a rust free dog that has a low gear 4wd that seems not to be able to get stuck in anything, rear wheel abs that really works and and turns heads when I get the mud off it. I'm 62, should be my last truck, accidents not withstanding. It just sucks gas....I can live with that. Thanks for the input.
