Interesting.

While my 3.4 has never gotten anything like 26 mpg, I have noticed it is very sensitive to how I accelerate from stop lights and stop signs. Just a little bit brisk, and the gas mileage drops like a rock. Highway speed changes don't make nearly as much difference. Very little mpg difference running 60 vs 70.
