my whistle seems to be right as i crack the throttle open. it is much louder with the spacer though.

i figured out the idle also. apparently, you need to have a vacuum line hooked up to the idle air controller in order for it to work <img src="/forums/images/graemlins/lol.gif" alt="" />. the stock hose is a little bit short to fit perfectly, so i have to make a new one.
