Need a Spot
what year would be the strongest rear end (axle shaft, housing, bearings) or combination of all these from different years will hold up to some 44's? This will go on an 81 yota.

07+ tundra rear end.
If you want 6-bolt, get a "8.4" diff in a "diamond" axle housing with poly axle shafts.

ring and pinion will become your weak after you upgrade the axle shafts. look into getting the r/p cryoed by bobby long.

I agree with that. Specifically the pinion. I broke a couple teeth off my rear pinion (4.88's) a while back on my 2000 4Runner.
