Shogun, seriously, I'd bet there isn't a Mitsubishi mechanic that knows more about a Generation 1 Montero (that's what you and I, along with LordTrunks and ClayTK, among others have) than these guys. I can't count myself in that crowd, specifically, but I have my moments.

You won't be taking your truck to any "mechanic." You'll be taking it to a real mechanic when you hang out with "The AZ Crawler Crew."

Body Damage is Cool
I have been suffering mad carb issues for the past couple months now. I finally bought a new carb instead of messing with it. The factory carbs are a little hard to tinker around with. What do you mean by the carb is smoking? Is it back fireing?

No not back firing. Its remanufactured, and it seemed to run real well for a few months. Now ive noticed that when i try to accelerate the truck slightly boggs a little. So i just drove relaxed trying not to accelerate to quick. Since tuesday the Monty doesnt want to accelerate it just want to move on its own. Also when i accelerated normally the rpm's wont come down when im in neutral. So now im smelling a slight burning smell comming from the driver side, with a little vibration going on. Man.... Usualy i have an idea on what it is and figure it out. I know my boots are bad, im just wandering if the smoking smell is comming from it.
sorry to bother you guys with somany questins, but i dont want to get rid of her. I have this image of what i want her to be. Its just little things. Thanks fellah's i dont know you guys but, i will take any advise i can get.
