just wanted to say thanks to all who have helped. thanks to madscientist and jagnew8, I am now the owner of two coolant outlet fittings. that junk yard called premium auto parts that he found had one that I bought and madscientist also found me one at the same time; I will take both unless someone else needs one??? I just didn't want to say I had one already until I actually had it in hand and two seemed to come through about the same time.

so, if anyone else needs one, they can have one of them, otherwise I will purchase both so that both parties' efforts don't go to waste.

on a side note, but related to parts searching, madscientist said that actuator assembly for the factory locker isn't available at mitsuparts.net..............that is a bad sign. I just ordered one of those 2 years ago without a problem.

I fear that these vehicles will soon be rendered useless if mitsu doesn't import parts anymore.

why design a vehicle with longevity in mind when you won't support it with parts availability???

we are all screwed!!

how do the gen I guys do it???? that is what I would like to know.

yes, fabrication goes a long way, but there are some mechanical components you just can't make, like a mitsu rear diff lock actuator.

how long do folks think parts at part yards will last?
