Getting the Wheeling Fever

OK Lads picture this, I finaly got my trans out of the 91 PU to check out whats with the non functioning clutch. Well the clutch plate grenaded with many loose parts jamed everywhere. The big surprise is there is no pilot shaft bearing. No pieces, no grease, no wear on the end of the trans shaft no nothing to indicate there ever was one there. There isn't any noticable lateral play in the trans shaft. It appears the thing was assembled with out a bearing. May have been apart before though. The actual mileage is 108,000 but on the clutch plate it says " Made in Korea " I doubt thats an original piece.Being this truck never made an excessive amount of chatter when taking off I never suspected a bad bearing much less none at all which you would cause the input shaft to be jumping all around.I have been driving this thing for 4 yrs like the old guy I am and I cant believe there was no pilot bearing or that the clutch looks like it came out of a vehicle that has been beat to death to make it explode like it did.
